I just tried the secrets option. Following the documentation helped a lot. I could create secrets for my project.
I understand that the secrets are linked to my account and not to a project. Thus, I frequently forget to start the project with options. I wish there would be flag that indicates that the session should be started that way. This would also remind users of my notebooks to add secrets. Maybe it’s possible to prevent a session from starting when no secrets are set.

Thank you for your feedback! In the future we will be bringing the secrets functionality you are using now to the new version of Renku (Renku 2.0), and improving it in the process. When we do so, we will take into consideration the use cases you described of needing to always include a secret to a session launch, and even warn if a secret is missing. At this time, I can’t promise when we will release this feature, but I wanted to assure you that it is on our roadmap!
