Renku rm didn't remove

Good morning renku team,

I removed several data sets with renku dataset rm. As this didn’t remove the data itself, I removed the actual data with renku rm data/folder. This worked fine for two folders but led to the following error for the third folder: renku rm a data folder · Issue #2315 · SwissDataScienceCenter/renku-python · GitHub

The repo is now in a dirty state (due to .gitattributes). What should I consider when proceeding? Can I simply manually remove the folder and adjust .gitattributes? Or are more steps needed?
