Save your credentials for your data sources in Renku 2.0! The latest new feature in Renku 2.0 allows you to manage your credentials comfortably.
The next time you launch a session with a data source that requires credentials, check the new ‘Save credentials’ box so you never have to enter them again! You can save credentials when creating a new data source too, via a new option in the very last step of the configuration of your data connector.
The next time that you start a session with that data connector, Renku will check if your credentials are available, and if so, Renku will automatically use them for connecting to the data sources in your session.
Additional changes are related to improvements to sharing, search, and sessions in Renku 2.0. The most relevant ones include:
- See the status of your session at a glance via a dynamic browser tab icon that shows whether your session is starting, running, or paused.
- Add members to groups and projects via a new user search.
- Enable searching by prefix of indexed words.
- Share search URLs.
