Is it possible to set up immediate repository forwarding? Rather than this only happening once the gitlab instance is shut down?

Hi James we have not released the features that enable us to do this yet. So unfortunately you cannot do this right now. We will release this soon and I can let you know when it is ready. The plan is to leave some time between when the feature is available and when the Gitlab will shut down so that people have enough time to transition.

Hi @JamesRunnalls I just wanted to chime in here. You can register the redirects you want through this form. Then once we are ready with the feature we can add them.
