I cannot find git section to commit my changes

Hello,

My session no longer has the git section on the right toolbar and I cannot commit my work.
In my requirements I have jupyterlab>=3.0, could that be the issue?

Hi @YoussefSaied - you’re right, afaik the git extension is not compatible with jupyterlab>=3.0.

Is there anyway then to not plot inline (use %matplotlib widget) in older versions of jupyterlab?

@YoussefSaied I’m not really sure - however, I do see now that the jupyterlab-git extension has been made to work with JL>=3.0 so we should be updating our images shortly. I can ping you here when this is done and you can switch to it.
